Dr. Yang has been appointed as the Associate Chair for Graduate Studies at the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering.

Dr. Yang has been appointed as the Director of the Maryland Transportation Institute.

Dr. Yang has recieved an endowed recognition as Clark Faculty Fellow from the James Clark Engineering School.
